There’s a party going on, and as both a creation and a creator, you’re an integral part of it! This colorful abstract landscape has many elements with symbolic meaning. A wheel on the left side of the painting represents change. In my head, while I was painting it, I kept singing the lyrics to “Wheel in the Sky” by Journey: “The wheel in the sky keeps on turnin’; I don’t know where I’ll be tomorrow.”

Several moons in the painting represent mystery and things unknown or unknowable. A circular seed pod and smoke on the right represent fertility and birth. Below the seed pod is an abstract owl to denote wisdom. Plant-like elements represent growth, and patterns of dots and triangles represent the natural order of things. Like my other paintings, circles within circles represent change and possibility. Things are constantly in flux.

This painting comes framed with a double white mat, black metal frame, and acrylic glazing.

Many of my works have an animated counterpart. You can view the painting’s associated animation below.
